[P25.10] Flow Inversion in ^14N+^154Sm in the BUU model

Declan Persram, Charles Gale (McGill University), Betty Tsang, Pawel Danielewicz (MSU-NSCL)

Direct flow inversion in collisions of ^14N with ^154Sm is investigated within the framework of the BUU model. The change in sign in nucleon transverse momenta indicates a transition behavior ideally suited for transport studies. The theoretical trends are in agreement with recent first time direct experimental results of flow inversion measured at MSU-NSCL. Some of the stringent requirements imposed on the model by the low energy experiments are also discussed.
