[Ca.04] Measurements of the Turbulent Transverse Jet using DPIV

Part of an ongoing study, mean measurements of the transverse jet cross section will be discussed. Included will be a discussion of the vorticity, which is shown to have a Gaussian spatial distribution. Results will be presented for values of the velocity ratio of 5, 10, 15, and 20.
