[C3.001] CP Violation and Rare Kaon Decays in KTeV

Elliott Cheu (University of Arizona)

The KTeV experiment just recently finished a long data taking run. Analysis of approximately 10% of this data set shows clear evidence for direct CP violation. Complete analysis of this data set should provide the most precise measurement of the CP violating parameter Re(\epsilon'/\epsilon). Direct CP violating effects can also be determined through measurements of rare kaon decays. Recent KTeV results on rare K_L decays will be presented.
